1. How long does the transfer take?
The time it takes to complete a tape transfer can vary depending on several factors, including the length and condition of the tape, as well as our current workload. However, as a general guideline, we typically aim to complete most transfers within 5 days on small orders, and over 1 week on big orders.
2. How would you describe the quality of the transfer?
How well the transfer turns out depends on the original tape's quality. We do our best to ensure the highest quality transfer.
3. How do I get my tapes to you?
You can either send them to our address or deliver in person. If delivering in person, please get in touch first before turning up. If posting please use special or recorded delivery and please let us know that you will be posting tapes to us. You can download the order form here
4. My VHS Tape has mould on it?
Tapes can get a layer of mould on them. Small spots of mould on VHS tapes, should still be ok to transfer. Mould on smaller tapes like hi 8 tapes, or mini dv is a bit harder to solve, due to the small width of the tape. This can cause the tape to stick and break when trying to repair. We can certainly try to remove and clean the mould from the tape, but can't always guarantee what the end result will be like.
5. How do I pay?
Payments can be made by cash or online after the job is completed. However, we prefer online payments where possible.
