1. How long does the transfer take?
Turnaround depends on the length and condition of your tapes, as well as our current workload. As a general guideline:

2. What’s the quality of the transfer like?
We always aim for the best possible results. The final quality depends on the condition of the original tapes, but we use professional equipment and software to ensure clean, high-quality transfers.
3. How do I send my tapes to you?
You can either:

Post them to us (use recorded or special delivery and let us know once sent)

Drop them off in person — please contact us first to arrange a time
4. Why won’t my USB stick work on my TV?
Many TVs only support specific USB formats like FAT32 or exFAT. You may need to reformat the USB or check your TV's manual.
Alternatively, you can:

Connect your laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable

Stream the videos directly from your computer
5. Can you fix damaged or mouldy tapes?
Small repairs — yes.
We can often transfer VHS tapes with light mould. However, mould on smaller formats like Hi8 or MiniDV is harder to clean due to the tape's narrow width. We’ll do our best to clean and repair, but results can’t always be guaranteed.
👉 Please note: mouldy tapes require specialist cleaning (£ per tape), which we’ll confirm with you before going ahead.
6. How do I pay?
Once your order is complete, we’ll send you an invoice by email, which you can pay securely online or by bank transfer.
